Why
baby photography?
Madeleine McGinnis has seven grandchildren, ranging in age from
14 to four, who live only minutes from her. They are her photographic
inspiration. This constant exposure to her grandchildren helps her
stay in touch with the different stages of child development. She
has developed an uncanny eye for recording and anticipating the
unexpected moments.
She is a graduate of the Winona School of Professional Photography
and the Mt. Carroll Center for Applied Photographic Arts, where
she studied under the guidance of world renowned instructors. She
was managing partner and owner of a studio for several years. She
completed her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees with honors
in St. Louis. Her competition entries have earned her several blue
ribbons including a Best of Show award in her Division.
Madeleine is a past member of the board of Greater St. Louis Professional
Photographers. She also enjoys membership in the Greater
St. Louis Mother's of Twins Club.
